The density-disease debate

Are high-density communities more vulnerable to the spread of infectious diseases?

This brief report does not attempt to settle the density-disease debate. Instead, it attempts to explore the statistical correlation between various measures of density and the spread of coronavirus in the United States. Relying on measures of aspatial and spatial correlation, this report attempts to determine whether a statistical relationship exists between population density and the prevalence of coronavirus.
